A tradition started long ago when Alli went on travel and was missing her dog, Frito. I would e-mail her a picture a day. Now we have a blog to share with each other, and the world. Hope you find them interesting. By the way ... does your dog have a blog?

Can't tell time
Alpha keeps asking me what time it is. Says something about looking at the "dandelion clock".
And then he just starts laughing. Can anyone figure this guy out?

Ciao, Bro
Well, we knew the day would have to come, but for Greg, it came a day early because of the British Airways strike. All-in-all, his vacation was too short -- ah, the life of the working man.
But even though I'm sad here, it was really great to see him and get to visit with him. See you later -- I mean, Ciao Bro'!

Raining in Siena
So it was raining on our vacation (I mean, the nerve! ;-) On this day, we thought we would head to one of the larger Tuscan cities and grab some internet access. That was easier said than done ;-)
But we did finally find some, and my parents made sure I had my own towel to keep me dry and warm, and they carried me around to save me from getting too soaking wet.
Hey, I just like getting out with the family. Pretty easy to please me!

Now *that's* a tattoo!
After our romp around Pisa, we headed back to the car to get ready for our next adventure.
Greg changed shirts and lookee what I saw. Now *that* is quite a tattoo. A custom job based on black holes, broken mirrors, and a plethora of little images. Greg says it was motivated by a dream.
Wow. I think it is really cool. Even if I am, as a result, "in the shadow" of Greg's tattoo in this photo (hee, hee).
Here's a closer look for those that are curious. (And you can click on it to make it larger.) Pretty wild.
Yep, that's my bro'!

Lemme tell ya a story
You see, there once was this family, with a little girl, that visited Pisa, Italy.
And during that trip, they saw a cute Yorkie (just like me ;-)
And later they were talking about how a Yorkie might be a good breed of dog to get for the family.
Well that was more than 10 years ago -- and that little girl was Alli, and that family turned out to become mine.
So Alpha decided to tell that story to this little girl's family -- just in case it might come true for them too.
Isn't that nice? (I'm not sure the little girl's mother thought so, but let's give her time ;-)

Hauling someone's butt
As it turns out, Pisa is not really keen on doggies. Only one of the monuments there let me in, and only when I was carried. So Mom decided to carry me so Alpha (and Greg) could take pictures.
Well, it turns out there are stairs -- quite a few actually -- and Mom hauled my butt right up there.
Let's just say we were happy to 'sit a spell' after that.

Happy Birthday to Moi
Stop those presses once again!
Mom just reminded me it's my Birthday today. And not just any Birthday -- I'm now a double-digit-doggie. That's right -- I'm 10 years old (in people years). Which pretty much makes me a senior citizen in dog years.
I think I look pretty good for my age, don't you? Oh yeah, and I think Mom looks pretty stunning as well. Must be all of that good living ;-)
Where in the world is Frito?

A little rainy
The weather was not exactly cooperative on this trip. We had some nice days, but also some rainy ones. And on this day we had a brief deluge ;-)
So even though I was wearing my waterproof vest, I still got soaked. And then chilly. So my parents had to think fast ... and they bought me a towel (hee, hee).
But you see, then the sun came out, and I was able to do some rolling in the sun. In the street perhaps, but at least in the sun.
Next we decided to have some food. So I joined the family at the table, and they used the towel to keep me warm so I would stop shivering.
In the end, Mom offered up her sweater, and that did the trick.
I think Greg was a little taken aback by the whole "pamper the dog" scene ;-) Perhaps he was a little jealous? (hee, hee).

Scenic Stop
So here's one of our stops while driving through Switzerland. Wow. Let me show you all the landmarks (check out the peaks on this viewing table)
But hey, we're not ones to let a table go to waste. Let's use it to make lunch. Yummy.
I think we found a "Sound of Music" location. Those hills are just beautiful, don't you think Greg?

The Christening
In anticipation of Greg's arrival, Alpha's office finally gets cleaned (hee, hee). And the sofa gets made into a bed. And Mom's quilt comes out. And then you get me looking absolutely adorable! Check out those folded ear tips. No hanky panky here -- I did this myself, after thoroughly snortling on the bed. Here let me show you:
First you gots to check out the comfy bed.
Then you gots to do a froggy leg rotate (always to the right) on the bed.
And finally, a vigorous snortle and roll. That's how you get flipped ear tips.
OK Greg, bed is now ready for you (hee, hee).

Greg's Arrival
Woah. Stop the presses again!
Greg has arrived! And just barely -- it took him almost 24 hours of travel, just coming from New England. First he was delayed by the volcanic ash cloud, and because of the delays, he missed his connection, but finally he's here! Woo hoo!
I got two separate trips to the airport, and got to stay up late to greet him. I was very excited.
Welcome home Bro' ('cause home is where the heart is ;-)

Can't touch this (electric fence)
In the immortal words of that great urban poet, Mr. MC Hammer:
That's word because you know
Can't touch this
Can't touch this
Break it down!
(Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
(Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh)
Stop! Hammer time!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Can't touch this
Can't touch this
Can't touch this
Yea, Can't touch this
I told you, can't touch this
Too hype can't touch this
Get me outta here, you can't touch this
