I got to go on a special loggin' adventure the other day. (OBTW, this is my attempt at loggin' ;-)
Right off our normal walking route, there is a hiking path we never knew about. We found out only because this winter they decided to log the area.

We walked for quite a while through the woods on the logging trail, and came to this really neat stream:
Then we tried to cross it -- and couldn't find a way. It really is quite a stream.
Alpha ended up with one hiking boot in the water trying to carry me across on a fallen tree. (Hee hee).
After that, we all decided to beat a hasty retreat.
But in the immortal words of the Governator ... "I'll be back."
