A tradition started long ago when Alli went on travel and was missing her dog, Frito. I would e-mail her a picture a day. Now we have a blog to share with each other, and the world. Hope you find them interesting. By the way ... does your dog have a blog?

Visiting Bebenhausen
Here's another cool photo from our walk around Bebenhausen. It's really a neat place.
Though upon some further research, it appears that this was an old Abbey used as a Cistercian monastey, and was probably built in 1183 (pssst, that's OLD).

That sure is old! And amazingly it escaped bombing in WWII, despite it also being a royal retreat and hunting lodge.
Who'd a thunk you'd come to Frito-a-Day to get your history lessons. Way to go Mom.
I bet there are tons of good sniffs around old places like these...
And we are talking lots of old places. U.S. doesn't even know what old is ;-)
