A tradition started long ago when Alli went on travel and was missing her dog, Frito. I would e-mail her a picture a day. Now we have a blog to share with each other, and the world. Hope you find them interesting. By the way ... does your dog have a blog?

Sometimes fields, sometimes woods
These volksmarches usually takes us over wide expanses of fields, which is nice during the winter, at least when it's sunny.
But other times they take us through groves of trees, which are waiting to be harvested. Man, check out that collection of future wooden beams.
These Germans sure do know how to steward their resources.

Looks like these volksmarches have very Frito-friendly terrain... lots of good sniffs, I bet!
Don't you know it. And most of the time, when it's not too crowded, and there are no roads nearby, I get to go off-leash and sniff to my little hearts content ;-)
