What about 24x7 attention?

Someone needs to tell Mom that I'm more important than her e-mail. Or at least she can pet me while she surfs the world wide web. Hee, hee. Just kidding Mom -- I know you pretty much do give me 24x7 attention. Especially when Alpha's gone traveling.

How ya doin?

How's everybody doin' out there in blog-o-land. Alpha says he's trying to do better keeping up with the posting requirements.

I can tell you I'm doing my part -- it is sooo tough to be adored and photographed. I know what it's like to live with my own paparazzi.

On the lean

Here I am walking alon our stone wall. It slopes down, and so, I'm on the lean.

But don't worry -- I have very good balance.

Deploying stabilizers

Sometimes I have to work so hard on my bonie, I need more stability to munch on it.

So ... I just deploy my rear stabilizers. See how they are out to the side -- just like one of those big cranes that needs to put down its out-riggers. Hee, hee.

My big dog bone

Check out the size of that momma. This is going to take me a while.


It really takes a lot of work to eat a monstor bonie like this. But trust me, I'm up to the challenge.


Even so, this will be a multi-day affair. Which is one reason my parents don't mind giving me something this big.

Howdy neighbor

This is Hubertus. He's our landlord and neighbor. He's a really nice guy, and thanks to me, is now a dog-lover ;-)

Forest floor foliage

And by contrast with the "flowers" yesterday, here you just have some neat foliage. This is from the woods surrounding Bebenhausen -- a really cool monastery town surrounded by woods and walking trails. Woo hoo.

I call 'em flowers ...

... some people call 'em weeds. Either way, I think they are pretty.

And they make a wonderful backdrop for moi! (hee, hee)

Cool shadows

Sometimes you get in the shadows to get cool. And sometimes you just get into "cool" shadows.

Neat pattern, donchathink? Made all the more cool by my presence -- indeed ;-)

Strange building

Check out this odd building along the Mosel. We can only assume it was designed some time ago for off-loading barges that traveled on the Mosel river. But the river must have been much higher then for these "cranes" to reach them.

Munching along the Mosel

We went to Trier, Germany over the weekend, and stayed in a hotel right across from the Mosel river. Had a couple of nice walks long the river path. Spring weather has finally arrived, and we were lucky enough to have sunny, warm days on the weekend.

Here I am having a much of grass along the Mosel. Just reward for my being such a good car-riding pooch.

Such a prince

I was thinking, if I hang out here, maybe I will get turned into a Froschkönig (Frog Prince).

Oh wait, I almost forgot, my parents tell me I'm already such a prince. Hee, hee.

What the heck?

I was getting ready to attack this funny looking dog. But when I got closer, I saw it was really a funny looking hedgehog.

And my super-sensitive sniffer tells me it is just a statue. So no reason to lash out irrationally (hee, hee).

Well, what a coincidence.

It's cold and cloudy.
