My greeter may need some work

You see, here I am on the entry way to our apartment in Germany.

But in the old days (like, a year ago), I would run out of the door whenever Alpha came home and zoom right on past him, and then run back.

But now, for some unknown reason, I just run (or maybe walk) out to the midpoint of the walkway.

And then I'm back to the door before Alpha even makes it there.

Alpha thinks I need to go into training so my greeter is world class again.

Maybe so, Alpha, maybe so.

der Hund und das Haus

Guess what ... the parents have begun their German lessons. Could you tell? ;-)

They are learning their "der, die, das" nouns. This is when it is easier just being the dog, er, der Hund (hee hee)

Now for extra credit, and to complete the list of possible articles:

Der Hund und die Laternenmast und das Haus. I just bet you can figure that out.

OK, this one is for Alli, since I am sure she would make a complete sentence:

Der Hund und die Laternemast sind vor dem Haus. I wonder if Alpha and Mom could even understand that ;-)

I recommend you say a language prayer for the parents ;-)

Here's our house

This shows the main entrance to our house. It used to be an old German hunting lodge, back in the 1930's I believe.

I'm really lucky to have all of the yard to run around in. Look at me go -- I'm just an orange bullet.

OBTW, I have no idea what that cool fountainy looking thing is -- I'll have to get Alpha to ask the landlord.
