Catchin' some rays

Well, I guess Alpha is going to keep taking pictures.

So I think I'll just rest a bit and catch some of the afternoon sun.

Always enjoyable in early Spring. Woo-hoo.

Horny ears

This is what I call my "horny ears".

It means I can hear you, but I'm not really happy about what you are saying.


Which in this case was too turn my head for another picture.

Alpha, I mean, really? Give it a rest (hee, hee).

Big hair, little tongue

Hey Mom, you've got some Big Hair today!

OK, maybe it just looks big compared to my cute and adorable little tongue.


So here, let me enlarge my tongue for you.

Drink when you can

Early in our walk, we came upon a nice stream.

It had a path down to the water, so I went for a drink.

Gotta get the water when you can ;-) Especially when the 'rents are still doling it out at home.


Boy, that's steeper than it looks.

Hold on to that leash Mom and don't let me fall in.

That would be chilly!

Hillside walk

Has spring arrived? Did we dodge the last winter storm?

Prolly too soon to say, but I'll take this weather.

Today we went out for a walk on the hillside near our house.


Nice paved paths through the local fields.

I was really prancing on this walk -- happy dog!


But you have to keep your eyes open.

Here comes some kids biking down the hill.

They are having fun, as am I ;-)

My own solarium

One thing our German house is NOT known for is an abundance of sunshine.

So when the sun is briefly soaking into the living room, it's time to luxuriate.

Oh boy, does this feel good after my bath.


See, even my ears are squeaky clean.

Alpha is very thorough!


OK, enough with the camera now.

Time for my snoozing-in-the-sun time.

Warm blanket

Alpha talks about this cool spa in Baden-Baden.

After all of the various saunas and hot tubs and cold baths, he gets wrapped up in a nice warm blanket and left to lie quietly in a warm room.

Very relaxing, he says, and impossible not to fall asleep.

Sounds cool (or warm and comfy actually), doesn't it?

Well, here's my own sun-warmed minkie blanket.

And he's right -- this is heaven.

Don't I look beautiful? The little tongue tip is just a little bonus ;-)

Oh yeah, and I'm lying in Alpha's bathrobe.

Just like mine -- only bigger and softer.

Wooly terrier

Awwww, look at this gorgeous boy.

My hair is all fluffy and so thick and luscious.

Maybe you can tell that I'm a manly "wooly Terrier" and not one of those sissy "silky Terriers".

Well hi there!

So post bath, I've been drying myself off on some beach towels.

I'm pretty dry now.


Well, maybe just a little bit more on my back.


And on my side as well.

Gotta be all clean, dry, and sweet-smellin' for the 'rents, donchaknow.

Back from a nice walk with early-spring-like weather.

Not sure if you can tell in the picture, but my belly is a mess.

Early spring thaw means muddy paths through the woods.

Playing hard to get

Maybe you can tell there's someone on the other end of this leash that wants me to come.

But I'm standing my ground, and playing hard to get.


Apparently they really want me to follow them.

But guess what ... I can do a pretty good imitation of a mule. (Hee-hee, or is that Hee-haa.)

Does this vest make my butt look big?

Not that I'm sensitive or anything.

It's just that I've gotten my hair back, and it makes me look a little wider.

Especially if I have a tight vest on.

But, personally, I think I have a cute tushie ;-)
