Alli and Ying

Someone's been slacking.

No, not Alli or Ying (from Nova Scotia college days - 2007).

But Alpha, 'cause he was on vacation with Mom and Cynthia.

And they forgot about Frito-a-Day.

Never worry -- I'll fill in all the missed days -- just go back and check them out.

Walking through the orchard

It's a little chilly, but not bad for just before Xmas.

Frito loved his walks, no matter the weather.

Especially if his girl was home.

Go Red Sox

2006 wasn't any better a year for the Red Sox than 2012.

But at least Alli and Frito could commiserate together.

Very colorful

Well, well, it seems both Frito and Alli are sporting some colorful clothing.

This was a beautiful fall day walking through a near-by apple orchard.

What a special pair these two make.

Late 2006, and Frito is visiting with Alli in our front yard.

Frito's Anniversary!

Well today is Frito's anniversary.  (And this picture is from 2006.)

The day Alli brought him home to his new family.

So much love given and received.

What more can any man, woman, or pooch ask for.

Happy Anniversary Frito -- we will always love you.  

Thanks for being such a good dog to Alli, Greg, Mom, and Alpha.

The little runt

Here they are -- the dynamic duo.

Frito really loved her girl.

The girl that rescued him and showed him heaven on earth.

Frito had such a good life thanks to Alli picking out "the little runt."

Bundled up

Alli, why are we all bundled up?

Oh, now I see!

Frito really loved the snow as a young pup (this was early 2005, so he was still 4 years old).

He would just bound through the snow, and end up with snow balls clinging to his furry legs.

But he didn't mind.

Frito sure loved his girl.

Here he is resting his head on Alli's feet up at the cottage.

This was the summer  of 2004, so Frito was 4 and Alli would have been 17 (never do math in public ;-) 

And here they are taking out some friends in Big Bertha.  

Frito really loved the boat, especially if Alli was there with him.

Hey everyone, it's time for a flashback to 2006.

Just look how cute and adorable I was back then.

I came back to wish a Happy Birthday to my one and only girl.

Keep on smilin' kiddo. And keep on laughin'.

I will always love you, no matter how far apart we might be.

Yeah, that's the spot Alli, scratch right there.

Hey well, it's the best I can do when Alli is back in Hawaii.

And it makes me happy thinking about her :-)

Time to say goodbye

Well, that time finally came.

We had to drop Alli off at the train station for her ride up to Frankfurt airport.


Alpha brought me along so I could see my girl one more time.


And Mom kept me warm while we waited for Alli's train to arrive.

Alli, glad you made it home without any problems.

I miss you already. Love you lots!

Look who's got the big smile today -- it's Alli!

And that's probably because she's just so darned happy to be taking me on a walk.

Way to go, Hawaii girl. I hope you don't freeze too much ;-)

Pffeeww, and I'm spent!

It was a tough Xmas morning, but someone had to do it.

Early wake-up, presents, waffle breakfast, and some Johnny Mathis in the background.

Looks like some folks had to crash (before noon mindya).

But not Alpha, nope. Always with the flash photography. Jeez


And lucky for you all.

Otherwise you might have missed this cutie pie snoozin' close-up.

But now, your day is all set. You, too, can rest now ;-)

I'm the best present of all

Ho Ho Ho!

We got up early (since Alli is still on Hawaii time), and celebrated.

Aka -- "opened presents" ;-)

And while there were some nice presents under the Xmas tree ...

... everyone knows just who is the best present of all ... c'est moi!

Well, will you lookee who has arrived! It's my girl, Alli!

And after she and I took a long nap together on the sofa, it's time for some loungin'.

I lead a really rough life, don't I?

But hey -- it's my girl -- and anything goes for us.

That way, I'm always sleeping with her, even though I'm not able to be there.
