Very Vigorous

Well, after finishing up a nice walk outside, I was a little wet and dirty.

So there was only one thing left to do. My very vigorous rubbing and rolling on the towels.


There! Now I'm beautiful. And I don't even use a brush or hair dryer ;-)

Something's not right

If Alpha is taking a picture of me (big surprise there), then who is taking a picture of Alpha taking the picture?

OMG! Mom got a new camera. Now she is going to start becoming a photographer as well!

Heading out for a walk

I know my pajamas are getting quite the work out. They keep me warm, and keep my legs from getting all snowy.


Alpha and I are out for a nice stroll. But wait a minute. Who's the photographer now?

Are you sneaking up on me?

You are certainly low to the ground. Slithering like a snake. Prolly trying to steal my chew-bone.

Well, certainly even better with me on the desk.

But I'm talking Frito-a-Day photos gracing Mom's computer and external monitor whenever it is not being used.

I mean -- could there be anything better?

Alpha, you need to market this. Surely that would keep me in organic doggie kibbles forever!

A little devil

Yep, that's me when I get ahold of one of these real chew bones. Man, do I just love 'em. Just don't get between my mouth and the bone (hee, hee)

Pajama Party!

As promised, it's time for my pajama party. Come on, you can all join in too ;-)


Now I must confess, when Alpha first suggested we try on this new outfit, I wasn't too sure it was a good idea. Can you tell?


But then my parents took me out into the COLD and the SNOW. And it started growing on me!


And man, I had no problem running back and forth along the trail, even through the snow. It kept me from getting "snowballs" clumped up in my legs.


You can see Alpha's all bundled up -- but my PJs kept me nice and toasty.


Only my paws got cold after running around for an hour. But Mom took some time to get all the snow and ice out from between my toes, and I was good to go again.


And so I leave you with this smiley face. Nope, I'm not mooning you ;-) Just wiggling my tail "bye, bye" to all my fans.

The big 1000

That's right. This is Frito-a-Day's 1000th blog entry! Can you believe it? That just shows how much I love my girl.

And aren't we a beautiful couple, standing near the flowers in Altensteig, Germany.

Woo-hoo! Big pajama party in the hood is coming up tomorrow!

Love my Chew Stick

So my parents felt a little sorry for me with only a couple of Xmas presents.

So they decided to give me a chew stick they had been saving. Good choice!

I just LOVE my chew stick.

Bye, Bye Alli and Melissa

Well, my girls have come and gone. Melissa over Xmas, and Alli for Xmas and New Year's.

I had such a great time visiting with them both. But I'm very sorry to see them have to leave. :-(

Oh well, I'll just have to keep posting incredibly cute pictures of moi so they don't miss me too much.

Hasta la vista, Melissa (she's going back to Spain). And Aloha, Alli (36 hours travel back to Hawaii -- all in one day! ;-)

End of Xmas Markets

OK, here's our last look at the German Christmas markets. At least that's one way to get the local s to come out and walk around in the cold weather. Fortunately, I have Mom and Alli to keep me warm!


Here we are at the Stuttgart Xmas Market. It was huge! And you can see that some people will do anything for a Euro!


Sun appears to be setting on Esslingen, and our Xmas markets. They were a lot of fun!

The walled city of Rothenburg o.d.T

Oh look, it's the Three Graces again, this time at Rothenburg ob der Tauber. This is a really cool and well-preserved medieval city.


Yep, this would be around the time of the knights. At least, I think so. Hey, I'm only a dog, remember.


Here we are settin' a spell outside the walled city. Some nice old trees for me to visit (hee, hee).


And the walls themselves are covered, and you can walk along them.


Yes, and I'm very brave for doing so, since I don't really care for heights ;-)

Atop the Burg

Here we are up on top of Burg Hohenzollern. It's a castle up on a small mountain, with awesome views of the fields and villages below.


We walked around the castle walls and checked out all the nooks and crannies. I can't remember if this was a nook or a cranny ;-)

Visiting Bebenhausen

Hey, check it out -- it's me and the girls. It's like I have my own "Three Graces" statue.


Yep, these are my gal pals. Aren't they pretty?

OK people, it's playtime

We just walked all around Esslingen, and back up the long hill. So, if you ask me ... I think it should be playtime now!


Oh boy, this should make the girls dizzy! Glad I'm not on that at the same time (no thanks to Alpha ;-)

Look who visited

So look who just visited Germany (from Spain). That's Melissa who spent Christmas with Alli (and moi)


See, Alli and Melissa go way back. BF ... Before Frito even (or roughly starting the same time).


This just that they are "close buddies". Playing on the spielplatz (playground).

Survived First night

OK, so we watched Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith last night, see.

My family wanted a movie with some background explosions to help mask the fireworks outside, since they scare me like the dickens!

So anyways ... this morning (the first morning of a brand new decade), I was given a new name for having successfully survived first night. And therefore you get an extra post (you lucky doggies).

Due to my similar appearance to Obi-Wan Kenobi, that famous Jedi master, I shall heretofor be known as Oh-Wada Megapup, the Frito master. May the kibbles be with you!
