It's me again

You probably were worried about me, huh?

After all, Alpha hasn't been so good about updating the blog lately, now has he?

Never fear -- he's been traveling overseas, and assures me he will get caught up!

Good thing I run a tight ship around here.

Snap to it, Alpha. Chop, chop! (hee, hee)

Superdog casts a long shadow

Here I am in my super cape. Check it out -- I am such a big dog -- see the shadow I cast?

I'm out on the deck after a snow/ice event (we're having many of these lately).

It's cold, but I'm a super tough superdog!

OK, that was fun, but now I'm chilly.

I sure hope you got the shot Alpha ;-)

Casting a long shadow

See another artsey photo from Alpha. See the lines, the color contrasts, blah, blah, blah.

Hey, the key points really are: the deck project is moving toward completion; and I am in the photo.

Modeling

Well, it's me and Alli again, modeling.

But do you know what we are modeling?

We are modeling the new deck stairs that Alpha built. That's right -- the deck is getting a makeover, and these are brand new.

He says the stairs are the most difficult part. I think he's kinda proud of them, so we're here to stroke his ego a little ;-)

See, he even made me do it alone (sitting on the cool base step Alpha and Mom set in place):

Home improvement

Well, there has been quite alot of activity around my house recently.

Alpha and Greg tackled the deck. They ripped off the old railings and deck surface, installed a water redistribution system and gutters to keep under the deck dry (for storage), and then redecked the surface.

Whew! I get tired just thinking about it. Oh yeah, and Mom has been weeding and mulching up a storm!

And while I did help, I must confess to not really liking change while it is underway. Nail guns, power saws, and lawn tractors are not really my cup of tea. But it will all be nice when it's (all) finished
