Happy Labor Day

After being out in the snow, Frito liked to come inside take advantage of our southerly windows.

Lying on the warm tiled floor, soaking up some rays.

Sounds like a good plan on a holiday weekend, donchu think?

Yes, that's a good plan indeed -- so gimme a high five!

I'm a trooper

And so we march on in the heat.  

Yes, I'm a trooper.  In fact I look like a Storm Trooper with my leg out straight.

Well, thank goodness for some shade.

Boy, am I looking furry.

My own solarium

One thing our German house is NOT known for is an abundance of sunshine.

So when the sun is briefly soaking into the living room, it's time to luxuriate.

Oh boy, does this feel good after my bath.


See, even my ears are squeaky clean.

Alpha is very thorough!

Time for my snoozing-in-the-sun time.

Catching some rays with Mom

In addition to cool flowers, they have nice benches every so often so you can take a load off.

Here I am taking my vest off as well, and catching some rays with Mom. Ahhhhhh, relaxing.

Sunny doorstep

You may have seen me here before. This is our doorstep to the small patio and garden we have in Germany. It faces southwest, so we get nice warm afternoon sun.

And of course, I look especially good when the sun is shining on moi.

Seeking the sun

Our house is not very sunny.

So I like to seek out the sun rays when (and where) they do come through.

Ahhh.

Sure Alpha, you can take a close-up for my fans (hee, hee).

I really do love the sun, and how it warms up the stone steps.
