A glacial pond and I got to get cooled off again.

This time straight for the grass -- who needs a towel.

So is there anything else cool up here?


Holy mackeral, there's a herd of cows up here.

And they seem to be a little territorial.

They are chasing Mom back down the trail.

Way to go Mom, thanks for creating a diversion for us!

Happy (Belated) Thanksgiving!

Yes, indeed. Alpha seems to be calendar-challenged. Alpha, last Thursday in November. It's Christmas that is always on the 25th. Anywho ...

Since Alpha is posting this so late, a day after Thanksgiving, we thought it would be appropriate to show you how thankful I can be.

First I'm thankful that I got dunked in cool glacial water when it was really hot outside.


Next I'm thankful that Alpha schlepped a towel for me on this hike so I would be able to go rollin', rollin', rollin'

'Cause nobody likes a grassy dog which would be the alternative ;-)


And finally, I'm showing you just how happy I can get.

Woopie!!!!

Doggie yoga

I'm very talented, donchaknow. And I like to keep myself fit.

So that means I need to do some doggie yoga and good stretching, which I like to do when I'm drying myself off after a bath.


See, this is what I mean. Check out that flexibility, baby!

Let's see you all try that after a bath. But just one thing -- no cameras for you! (hee, hee)

Yep -- Very Refreshing!

Ahhh, I feel so much cooler now.

That quick dip in the kiddie pool was really quite refreshing!


Of course, first I had to do some rolling to get most of the water off me.

It's always a good show for the 'rents. They enjoy it (as do I).


See? I'm pretty much dry now.

And rather adorable, if I do say so myself.

Didn't I call it? It's bath time!

Well, at least it's warm water and nice shampoo (and not one of those hollowed out logs with freezing water ;-)


And this shows you that I am at least suitably pampered. Just like I deserve!


Awwww, and now they're holding me just like a baby. I really like this after a warm bath.

And now, of course, does every know what time it is? It's time for some rollin', rollin', rollin'

Coolin' off again

Whew, that's been a lot of walking in the sun so far.

I really needed a drink and a dip in the glacial stream.


And then, of course, some rollin' in the grass.

Yeah, that's what I'm talking about!

I need to roll

Hurry Mom.

Take off my vest and collar, because I really must go rollin', rollin', rollin' to dry off the rain.
