Shadow walk

I'd recognize those silhouettes anywhere.

Especially the terrier on the left.

Out for a walk with the 'rents on a bright sunny day.

Frito always loved his walks.

Someone's casting a long shadow

Alpha, how come you look so much taller than me?

I mean, really, really tall!

You look like those circus fellas that wear really long peg-leg thingies.

Hey, its a technical term -- cut me some slack.  

Or better yet, cut me long lengths of slacks, so we can get Alpha some new extra-long pants.

Heffalump?

Someone is casting a long and rather large shadow.

Looks like I'm being followed by a heffalump, if you ask me.

Because I know I'm rather small and dainty.

A little flat

Took a walk on a nice sunny day.

Alpha, you have some really large, weird growth on your hip -- maybe you need to get that looked at (hee, hee).

While we were out, we saw this pretty horse.

Now I don't want to hear and blond horse jokes, 'K?

Me and my shadows

Check out those really big, dark people that keep following me around.

I mean really -- they're kinda scary.

At least they are "tall" rather than "wide". In fact, this makes them look pretty skinny.

Is that why you took the photo Alpha? Hmmmmm?

Dark Shadows

Hey, remember that vampire soap opera from about 40 years ago, called Dark Shadows? No? Me neither. (hee, hee)

Just thought of it when I saw this photo. It was really bright outside, and you can see the sunlight through the window, contrasted with those "dark shadows".

Oh, I get it. But I don't look anything like Barnabas Collins. Well, maybe the canine incisors ;-)

Cool shadows

Sometimes you get in the shadows to get cool. And sometimes you just get into "cool" shadows.

Neat pattern, donchathink? Made all the more cool by my presence -- indeed ;-)

Casting some long shadows

The sun is very low. I wonder who is making those really long shadows?

Frito goes visiting

Pretty cool photo, doncha think? (Hey, anything looks cool with me as the subject ;-)


Took a ride to see some sights, and ended up in Esslingen, only about 20 minutes away from home. This is part of an old fortress wall, and is a "healthy" walk (read, pretty much straight up hill -- way to go Mom!) from the quaint town center. Just another cool thing that we German hundes get to do. Woo hoo.

Shadow man

Here is Alpha playing again with his camera and the setting sun. See how it looks like his shadow is holding me up?

Alpha, you really do need to get a life ;-) But hey, when you've got such an adorable model, I guess it is understandable.

Yeah, it's been a while. Sorry about that.

But here I am, emerging from the darkness, into the light of the blog, and casting one heckuva shadow.
