Cruisin'

Some people cruise in a car.

Me? I just cruise along the walking trails.

Can you feel the wind just blowin' through my hair?

Just like I was in a convertible.

Hey, did we miss the turn?

Guess I wasn't paying attention.

Just having too much fun cruisin'

Lookin' foxy!

Or, rather, somewhat fox-like with the wind blowing my shaggy hair back.

I think it looks kinda cool.

Except when I turn around and it musses up my hair do.

Bad wind.

A little windy

Looks like Mom's hairdo is getting blown around a bit.

But she's still a cutie, donchathink?

Ya know Mom, if we give you a #1 or #2 buzz cut (like me) you won't have this problem (hee, hee)

Powder River Pass

It's windy and it's cold up here at 9666 ft on the Powder River Pass. But it sure was a pretty ride.

Then the weather changed and a front came in. Now we need to get off the mountain before it snows!

Oregon coast is windy!

Wow. We must have hit it at an unusual time, but the coast was windy and cold! Can you tell that Mom is not amused?

Well, it's not bad in the RV. But here we are at a pretty rest area, and check out those ears. Hold on Alpha, or I may take off!

No Dogs???

On the top of Mt. Kearsarge, there is a fire tower, where they watch for forest fires and call them into the local fire departments. Alpha wanted to take me up, but it was closed for the day. And then I spotted this sign. Sayyyyyy, how come no dogs???

Here is a picture of the fire tower itself, just to give you some perspective.

Well, now I realize at least one reason for the "no dogs" rule. It is windy, noisy, and kinda scary on the fire tower steps. But don't worry, Alpha took me down.

And here you can see me on the top when the wind blows. Yes, it was pretty gusty. But don't worry folks -- at no time did my paws leave terra firma. It was actually pretty fun!
