Visiting Bebenhausen


Here's another cool photo from our walk around Bebenhausen. It's really a neat place.

Though upon some further research, it appears that this was an old Abbey used as a Cistercian monastey, and was probably built in 1183 (pssst, that's OLD).

That sure is old! And amazingly it escaped bombing in WWII, despite it also being a royal retreat and hunting lodge.

And we are talking lots of old places. U.S. doesn't even know what old is ;-)
